Membership costs and benefits
The annual membership fee is £46.50. The membership year runs from 1st June. If you want to join part way through the year, the fee is simply pro-rata’d based on the number of complete months remaining until the next 1st June. This buys you the following benefits:
- Club afternoon every Saturday from 5.15pm to 6.45pm – for players of all abilities
- Participation in the internal Squash League
- Participation in the internal Racketball League
- Eligibility for the Squash teams that Henley fields in the Oxfordshire and Berkshire Leagues
- Club championships and tournaments throughout the year
- Free coaching sessions – for all abilities, but priority for non-team players
- Automatic membership of England Squash and Racketball. To see the benefits of this go here
- Preferential rates for joining the Leisure Centre gym (see below)
You don’t have to be a member of Henley Leisure Centre to be a member of the Squash Club, but if you are, you get the following:
- Court fees are £6.30 instead of £9.00 and bookings can be made up to a week in advance by telephone
- Access to all the other facilities (pool etc.) at lower rates as well
- Cost is £30 per year for an adult (£18 for a junior or senior citizen; £60 for a family)
- If you are in the Squash Club, there is a special deal for joining the Leisure Centre gym as follows:
- £34 a month or £340 a year
- full access to the gym, pool, sauna, steam room
- turn up and play Squash or Racketball for free if no-one is on the courts
- 25 free pre-booked courts per year
- this deal only available to members of Henley Squash and Racketball Club
