Club Nights
Club nights have started again!
They are every Saturday from 5.15pm to 6.45pm. Just turn up and play with other members.
Henley Squash Club is relaunching from 1st June 2008
As I’m sure you will already know the new squash courts are up and running, so if you want to join or re-join the Henley Squash Club and enjoy the monthly leagues and all the other benefits that go with it then now is the time.
We have a number of great things to offer you including a cheaper membership to the sports centre when you are a member of the squash club. If you go for the top membership it will cost you £42 a month however they have offered the squash club members the same membership for only £34 with further discounts if we have 50 or more members. For that you get everything free other than the squash courts, which I think is a bit of a cheek but they will give you 24 free courts. If you have already joined then they will back date it and adjust you fees accordingly. They have also said that if you had the original membership which gave you free courts then they will honour that but only if you put your membership on hold but how they work that out I don’t know considering what happened with the closure but it is worth asking.
Club membership fees will be £46.50. This is payable by annual standing order.

2008 Club Tournaments
We will be holding the 2008 Club Tournaments over 2 weekends in August this year – on our new courts!! The Griff Evans Handicap Tournament will be held on the 2/3rd August and the Club Championship on 23/24th August. That way, if anyone is on holiday in August, they should not miss both tournaments. Please confirm if you wish to enter either or both. Please also advise if you are NOT able to play on Friday evening if necessary. Entries required by SUNDAY 13TH JULY. Preferably by email. All new online scoring
We now have online scoring for the monthly leagues using ez-leagues, which will make it easier to administer for the club and save you time entering your scores. We are hoping to start these on the 1st June 2008, if there are enough people but it might end up being July.
To use the online scoring Results should be input on the club website to validate the match, to do this simply click on the 'Leagues' button and login using the password (supplied when joining the club). If you are having trouble with the website recognising your computer then this is a cookies problem. Adjust your web browser security to allow all cookies, on Internet Explorer this may mean reducing your security to the low setting. This should resolve the issue. When you return to the leagues pages in the future the website should recognise you and welcome you by name.
Everyone is now required to use the online scoring method as the paper slips which we used previously have been phased out due to the administration time.
